Montes Winery was officially established in 1988 by four Chilean partners with years of experience in the art of winemaking and in the wine trade. In 2002, Chief Winemaker Aurelio Montes ventured to Argentina to develop the Kaiken line, and in 2006 he continued his quest north, where he crafted wines in the iconic Napa Valley - NapaAngel. In 2009 they will introduce their first wines from Paso Robles.
